It is believed that orbs are spirits hovering over a person, animal, or area of land. Sometimes orbs may be found in photographs, but the orbs shown in this article swarm the land of a private property in upper New York daily. They do not need to be photographed to be seen by the landowners.
I have received permission to share some photos and reactions of the folks who live on this land. I have worked with their animals and these beings of light on the land over the past many years.
Their unique energy signatures have a cleansing effect on the surrounding area, ridding it of any negative energy past or present. They provide a sense of calm and gratitude as well as an inner knowing that the land is a sacred place.
In conversation, they have shared telepathic messages of love, gratitude, and protection on various occasions.

Green orbs may be spirits tied to nature, such as nature spirits. Folks deeply connected to the natural world might be visited by spirits taking the form of a green orb. This racoon frequents the land often bringing with him a light that offers a sense of serenity.
Rainbow orbs can be a soul or a spirit that is touched by the entire spectrum of cosmic vibration. They sometimes gather by the plants and animals on the land. The dogs are aware of their presence. They innately know the energies are friendly, so they continue their play.
This cat enjoys interaction with these energies. He is accustomed to their presence and looks forward to their visits.

White orbs may signal a connection to a higher power. Those who witness this type of orb can usually rest assured that they are protected. This orb was sighted during hurricane Sandy in 2012 which caused so much destruction on the entire east coast. The landowner states she knew they would be safe.
Blue orbs are said to be spirits that are very calm and happy. Some believe that blue orbs come to this world to help guide the living. Here’s an example of a blue orb visiting from another realm:
